HISTORY OF THE TOY: The sea lion is the most common mammal in the Galápagos Islands. There are large colonies of sea lions on the rocks and beaches of the islands. They go into the water to feed and cool off. Sea lions are very affected by the effects of climate change on ocean currents since there are repercussions on their habitat and the abundance of fish used as prey.
